All of our providers are extensively trained and experienced in skin care, laser treatments, and cosmetic injectable procedures. VANASSA J. SEBASTIAN, CRNA, APRN, CANS
Vanassa is an APRN, an Advanced Practice Clinician who specializes in Medical Aesthetics. Vanassa is an honors graduate of Central Connecticut State University, where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and a Masters Degree in Biology with a specialty in Anesthesia. Vanassa holds the very prestigious credentials as a Board Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist, a certification held by only ONE other APRN in the STATE OF CT. She is also a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and gives anesthesia in the Operating Room one day per week. Vanassa has always had a passion for beauty & medical aesthetics. She has received extensive training in both basic and advanced techniques in Laser, Botox, & Dermal Fillers. Vanassa has had the opportunity to train with some of the best Medical Aesthetic Injectors in the country. She has trained with world renowned Dr Mauricio DeMaio & Dr Deborah Sherman, as a Master Voluma Trainer in New England. Additionally, Vanassa has received extensive training from both Allergan & Galderma.
Vanassa specializes in custom treatment plans offering a wide variety of advanced treatment options to maximize your results. It is a combination of her artistic eye and extensive training that allows for a comprehensive approach to beauty and non-surgical facial rejuvenation.
As a former Mrs Connecticut and a Top 10 Mrs. America Semi-Finalist, Vanassa has been on both sides of the beauty aesthetic industry. Vanassa has starred on Bravo TV's reality show Game of Crowns and featured on many other news outlets across the country including: Extra, Entertainment Tonight, Insider, E! News, OkTV, and Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. Her expertise in the world of beauty is unmatched. With an eye for accentuating your best features, Vanassa has an amazing ability to help you achieve and maintain the look you desire. She prides herself in giving you the best most effective natural looking results possible.
Jenna Wirth, RN, BSN
Aesthetic Nurse Injector
Jenna began her nursing career graduating from UCONN School of Nursing. She immediately began working in an acute care hospital setting. After the birth of her first daughter in 2018, Jenna began looking into alternative nursing specialties. Jenna was IMMEDIATELY drawn to aesthetics because it’s an environment that inspires positivity and builds confidence.
Jenna immediately started studying, shadowing and learning all that she could,determined to be the best she could be. Jenna knew Vanassa from working with her at the hospital. Jenna expressed an interest in working with Vanassa and Connecticut Medical Aesthetics. The timing turned out to be perfect!
Jenna has been married to her husband John for nine incredible years. Together they have three beautiful children, Suzie, Everly and John Jr. During Jenna's free time she enjoys reading (studying) and spending time with family, friends and her dog!
Gina Ahern, RN, BSN
Aesthetic Nurse Injector
Gina in a Registered Nurse, she graduated from URI in December 2015. Gina has always known she wanted to be in the medical aesthetics field. Her passion for empowering both men and women and her creative flare led me to her to aesthetics. Gina started her nursing career in maternity/ pediatrics, helping children and mothers on their postpartum journey. Gina will be the first to tell you that being able to help new moms was very fulfilling. During her time in maternity and pediatrics she quickly learned that all moms wanted to look and feel their best especially after pregnancy. That is when Gina decided to make a change, take the leap and pursue a career in medical aesthetics. After many months of training and studying, she found Connecticut Medical Aesthetics.
During Gina's free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband, working on her house and of course spending time with her two fur babies!
Tyah Marie Ballestrini
Practice Manager
After majoring in Business at the University of Maine in Portland, Maine, Tyah entered the business world with a very large company where her primarily responsibility was marketing and business development. It was there that Tyah realized her strength in business management and networking, as well as the importance of building relationships in business.
As a former pageant queen, Ms. New England States 2014, Tyah is no stranger to beauty. In 2018 she decided to take her love of beauty, creativity and business development to Connecticut Medical Aesthetics. This is where Tyah quickly realized that her passion and career would come together. She quickly cultivated an expertise in all services and products provided by the business and within the competitive landscape. In addition to managing the backend of the business, she also takes pride in ensuring that each and every patient is comfortable and confident throughout every step of their treatment plan.
Tyah is married to the love of her life, Jacob, and together on 02/20/2020, they recently welcomed a beautiful little girl, Olivia Grace, into this world.
Tyah's passion for building relationships and helping others extends beyond humans. She and her husband are huge animal activists and support the adoption of rescue dogs. Together they have adopted 2 rescue dogs, Kona and Dash.
